No christian has ever give me an answer to this:
If according to the bible and biblical scholars the earth and the galaxies is only about 6000 years, then how did light from galaxies that are millions of light years away reach earth in only 4000 years?

First you assume light has always traveled at a constant speed and that time has always been at a constant. They proved light can be slowed down even though it was in a special medium or laboratory setting. Regardless, its speed can be altered. If God created wine from water that was already mature and did not need fermenting, it would also be doable that he not also create an earth and a universe that was also already mature and in a working manner as we see today. This may seem far fetched to an atheist but again I am speaking of a supernatural being to a natural being that is supposedly open minded. This answer is good enough for me and it is something I have pondered about in the past. By the way I have heard of time and space being bent in some peoples theorys, why can't I play with it?
Thanks for following my blog! Just FYI, a considerable percentage of Christians nowadays, including myself and my husband (an astrophysicist) don't find an old universe and evolution to be contradictory to the original Genesis account. Francis Collin's "The Language of God" does a good job of explaining that viewpoint.
